The Joy of Growing Something - ( grapes )

A few years ago, I picked these grapes and hydrangeas from my own garden—tiny clusters of colour and life. There’s something deeply grounding about growing even a little of your own food or tending to plants. Studies show that gardening isn’t just about fresh produce; it’s linked to lower stress levels, improved mood, and even reduced risk of depression. You don’t need a garden to start—herbs on a windowsill or a single potted tomato can bring the same quiet joy. As I held these grapes in my hand, I realised how much tending to life around us helps us tend to the life within us too.
